If I were to describe myself, I would say I'm a developer who's obsessed with performant & lightweight code. I like to strategically design systems that are most optimized for performance from the get-go by predicting bottle-necks that may be encountered down the road. I've found that planning also ensures a smoother & more enjoyable programming experience in a team-setting. The more time spent proactively accounting for edge cases, designing a sound architecture, and prioritizing which user stories must be developed first, the more efficient I am able to build software. I am very detail-oriented and I aim to bring that quality to every team I am a part of.
I build full-stack apps with the help of Typescript, React (with Next.js), Node.js, AWS, and SQL databases in tandem with Prisma.
Mastering this tech stack has afforded me the ability to create lighting fast front-ends by server-side-rendering and caching data, along with creating highly optimized back-ends through techniques like load-balancing and database indexing.

E-commerce Site for Apparel Brand
Fully-functional e-commerce application with authentication, an admin dashboard to manage inventory, & saved payment profiles using Authorize.net payment platform
Accounted for numerous edge-cases in the checkout stage, including handling low inventory & failed transactions
Used OAuth in tandem with Authorize.net to securely fetch user’s payment methods in a PCI-compliant database
Pinning Bees
A fully responsive, light-weight Front-end site designed with minimal dependencies (jQuery, TS).
Fluid animations add an interactive feel, responsive design implemented tastefully, and a fully functioning contact form.
All completed in 3 days from start-to-finish, idea to deployment.
Question & Answers API for Elevated Apparel
A Deployed Backend RESTful API ready for real-world traffic spikes of up to 10,000 clients/second.
Deployed NginX Load Balancer to AWS EC2 instance to increase throughput from 3200 clients/sec to over 10k clients/sec, dropping error rate from 12% to 0.0% and response time reduced from 16sec to 130ms.

Simplistic yet modern e-commerce site designed with the user in mind.
Responsible for the Question and Answers section.
Utilized localStorage for caching, jquery scroll animations for infinite scrolling, and created a real-time search bar with React onChange hook.
Mobile App for TechXChange
A React-Native mobile app that facilitates electronic device trades between users.
Introduced global state with React Context API to pre-load data and reduce redundant http requests.
Full Auth process with photo uploads implemented with Firebase and S3 buckets.
